The most basic survival skills are defined to be women's traits: cooking, cleaning (filth is dangerous).
But the trait of being independent is seen as a male thing, because it's about being systematically and socially independent, not independent in practical terms.

Women don't depend on anyone to survive everyday, so men had to create a situation where those very survival skills don't do anything but keep yourself alive.

With money, something that simply doesn't exist in real life and has no value, men give themselves ALL the power. It's disturbingly good.
