Be it a trophy wife, or a woman pushed/forced into prostitution, in both situations only the man is winning: he gets to exploit and abuse a woman as much as he wants, all at the small price of something that doesn't have any real value. And the worst thing is that no man will ever understand it, since the oppression and helplessness wouldn't exist if it was him being the trophy husband or a prostitute.
